Definition of Terms
Extract: Are liquid solvents into which the principal ingredients of herbs are soluble. Extracts have been used for those who have difficulty in swallowing capsules, and also used by small children. Extracts are in a liquid form that are assimilated, or absorbed into the body much faster.
Infusion: A tea made of leaves and blossoms.
Oil of Herbs: And extraction of the herb in an oil base.
Poultice: The fresh herb applied locally to the affected area.
Tincture: An extraction of herbs made in a specific manner.
